New Chapter of Life

on Friday, October 16, 2009

So, finally, I'm here, at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. The first two weeks were fun and enjoyable, we were almost like having a holiday in a remote place, far away from the cities. But... things are starting to get more and more hectic... still, funny things happen all the time, making the life here interesting. Oh, trust me... One in the pharmacy course (for 1st year students) would never get boring in the campus cuz books and friends will always keep you company.
Speaking of friends, yup! I met a lot of new friends here. I'm really happy to have them around all the time, from morning to night (sometimes even after midnight). The life here is full of colours because of them. Thanks, guys!
Oh ya! I guess I'm lucky enough to have an old buddy accompanying me all the time (well, almost), just that I didn't actually expect us to be roommates, which is a very good thing so far.
Ok, time to go to bed.

New Beginning (just for my future reference.. keke..)

on Thursday, September 24, 2009

So, my long holiday has finally come to an end. This is the most amazing holiday I've ever had... went for Redang trip with my classmates and Bio lecturer... gone through plenty of job applications... being a replacement teacher in SMK BPJ (B)... met a lot of awesome students and teachers... celebrated the birthdays of Kai Hsien and Jun Suet... attended the prize giving ceremony in Taylor's... had supper at Tenji... went to Genting Highland with Julian and Zhen Ning... had farewell for Wang Lin who's in HK now and also Zhen Ning who's in the UK.

Starting from this Friday (25th Sept 09), I'll be officially registered as a MPharm student in the University of Nottingham, Malaysia campus. This is a 2+2 programme, meaning the students will be studying in the Msia campus for the first 2 years and then another 2 in the UK campus (hehe, really looking forward to this).
I certainly hope that everything will run smoothly during my years of undergraduate studies. Hopefully my next post in this blog will be about how great the life in the campus is, and not the other way round =p
Now, I'm still in the comfort of my home, but from tomorrow onwards, ....... well, you know....... everything won't be the same anymore.

Praying hard that I'm not making the wrong decision, there's no turning back for me already. So, what I can do now is...... oh, whatever, just go to the bed....... I'm going to sleep on another bed in the hostel soon anyway.......

Good night =)

Leaving secondary school... Again...

on Friday, September 18, 2009

I don't want this to be true.
But, well, i guess this is it.
Finally my days in secondary school have to an end...
Again!
~~~
After SPM, I went to Taylor's to join the A-level programme.
And after one and a half year of studies, I went for many job interviews in...
pharmacies, computer shops, camera shops, a primary school...
And one day an idea came to mind..
"Why don't I try my luck in my sis's school?"
And gone through the usual process again...
Completing forms, photostating IC, interview, bla bla bla...
~~~
One morning, in my dream, i heard my phone ringing.
Lazily, I picked up the phone...
"Hey, Koo! Boleh datang ajar pada hari Isnin? Pakai properly arr! ........ ok, bye!"
So, I began my days of teaching in SMK Bandar Puchong Jaya (B).
In the first day, I felt like I was going back to secondary school to study again.
And then, a teacher in the staffroom came and said to me:
"hey... don't get bullied by the students, never smile in front of them, act like a demon"
~~~
And speaking of demons,
My very first class, 1T really scared me...
The children were really like demons (at the beginning).
Well, I guess I managed to handle them quite well after some days interacting with them.
They could be very cute at the same time also when they were behaving well.
I guess this makes you guys cute demons?
Don't you guys think so, 1T?
Hahahaha!
~~~
And my next class, 2G...
Well, i guess this is the only class I couldn't handle.
They were not noisy nor naughty.
Just their attitude. I didn't like it.
Of course I'll never forget the 8 students in this class who were willing to learn.
Thank you for making me not to abandon your class totally.
~~~
Ok, next, 1E!
Well, this class was full of students with excellent attitude.
And most importantly, all of them were kawaii!!
Hehehe ^^
So, keep it up, guys!
All of you, I believe you can be the top scorers of BPJ (B) in PMR and SPM in the future!
Allow me to say this which my Biology lecturer always said in the class:
"TOP IN THE WORLD!!!"
~~~
Well, 2B!
"Awak ni guru tingkatan 2B, jadi jangan lupa kutip duit kupon, yuran, X%&^&(*Y*^@!"
"What?!"
2B, the only class that could make me angry and please me at the same time!
Full of students with great potential, but with some attitude problems among the boys.
Well, I don't know what to say about you guys, but...
Thank you for making my life in your school to be full of surprise & happiness.
I'll treasure the memories I shared with you all.
The noisy Malay boys... Chicken Little... The anime freak (not a bad thing, haha)...
The active pengawas girl... The super quiet girls sitting at the back...
The handsome monitor... The bully with spiky hair (even dare to bully me)...
The 3-man-gang... Another Kingston (why people with this name are always good looking arr?)
The cool chubby... The Satu Malaysia (Indian-Chinese-Malay mix)...
The clever twins from Sri Lanka... The pretty indian girls...
The pengawas girl who had a lot of fans... The brave special girl... and many many more...
I'm sorry if I didn't mention about you.
But just to let all of you know,
you guys are amazing.
Just behave yourself, and I'm sure you all can be the best of the best!
Thinking of it, maybe I spent too much time with this class.
Hahahaha!
~~~
Alright, 1D,1L, 1K, 1G, 1S, 2D, Peralihan Beta...
Although we didn't really spend too much time together,
you guys are awesome.
Thank you for attending my lessons!
=)
~~~
Oh ya! Nice to have you guys around also,
the 'sweet potato' pengawas & the Garfield librarian, both from 2K.
Hehehehe!
Hope you don't mind about the nicknames.
I heard these from others also.
~~~
Ok, so, the end!
Thank you for treating me a teacher.
Thank you, everyone of you, for bringing me so much fun and wonderful memories!
Hope we'll meet again and do drop me a message sometimes.
On the other hand, there's a new beginning waiting for me ahead.
I'm finally heading to university!
